1.Operating method

(1) Washing roads

A road is washed by the two front nozzles which are controlled by the air cylinder. After filling water into the tank body, adjust the pitch rotating angle of the nozzle according to the requirement. Open the front spray valve (the water inlet valve of the pump at the bottom of the tank is opened all along, except for self water suction), close other valves of the water circuit, and start the automobile. After the air pressure has reached 0.5 MPa, press the clutch pedal. Turn on the front spray switch, and then turn on the power takeoff switch. Put the gear to the first level to run the water pump, and loosen the clutch slowly. Use the accelerator pedal to help the truck travel at a speed of 5–10 km/h. Dislocate the power takeoff upon completion of work or during the intermittent washing to stop the water pump. Do not close the front spray in advance to avoid damage to the water pump and pipelines.

(2) Watering pavements

A pavement is watered by the two sprinklers at the rear bottom of the automobile. After filling water into the tank body, adjust the direction of the orifice on the sprinkler in accordance with the road width and water quantity, open one or two control valves of the sprinkler, and close other valves of the water circuit. The drivers and forward velocity of the automobile and water pump are the same as those for washing a road.

(3) Fire fighting upon emergency and forced washing

Fire fighting upon emergency is subject to the overhead spray gun at the rear of the tank body. After filling water into the tank body, open the control valve of the overhead spray gun, and close other valves of the water circuit. In general, the automobile operates in a fixed position, and the gearbox is in a neutral position. The drivers and precautions are the same as those for washing a road. The operators in the automobile can turn the valve in front of the overhead spray gun to change the shape (columnar or vaporific) of the water spray based on the work requirements. They can also turn the overhead spray gun up and down, left and right to forcibly wash a pavement or a building.

(4) Pressure drainage

A water outlet at the bottom of the tank body can be used for drain irrigation of the vegetation on both sides of a road. After filling into the tank body, close relevant valves and drive the truck to the required section of a road. Install the prepared rubber pipe on the drain opening. Open the pressure relief valve, and put the gearbox in a neutral position. Then lift the power takeoff switch, and drive water pump to work. Operators can irrigate the vegetation on the side of a road. They can also use the water pump in situations such as delivering water and rapidly washing an area.
(5) Gravity drainage

For gravity drainage, a user can provide an appropriate rubber pipe and install it on the gravity drainage opening. The pump is not working during the drainage period. Close all other valves. After filling water into the tank body, use the valve switch to control the water flow.

(6) Self-water-suction function

Unscrew the blank cap and connect the rubber pipe (no air leakage on the rubber pipe or pipeline).Immerse the other end of the rubber pipe in the water. Open the backwater valve on one side of the tank and close all other valves. When the pressure of the automobile reaches 0.5 MPa, turn on the power takeoff switch to run the water pump. Regulate the rotating speed by using the accelerator pedal. Reaction on the pressure gauge indicates that water suction has started. When the water level shows a tank body full of water, press the power takeoff switch to stop the water pump. Close the backwater valve. Open the inlet water valve at the bottom of the tank for water spray (Note: Fill liquid into the pump during operation to avoid damages caused by dry friction of the mechanical seal.).


(1)Before using a new truck, read the Instruction, Operating Instruction for Chassis, and Operating Instruction for Water Pump carefully, and carry out a task in accordance with these instructions.

(2)Before operation, check the brake followed by the flexibility and reliability of the steering mechanism.Check if the fuel, engine oil, gear oil of the transfer case, electrical instruments, and pressure of the automobile tire are normal.

(3)Check the tank body for impurities before filling it with water, and clean it when necessary to avoid block of the pipeline.

(4)Do not drive the water pump if no water is available.

(5)Do not start the water circuit and water suction system if no outlet valve is open.

(6)Check whether the power takeoff, transfer case, drive shaft, pump body and tank body are secure.Tighten them when necessary.

(7)Do not use the product for multiple operational tasks at the same time, except for rapidly discharging the remaining liquid in the tank upon the completion of a task.

(8)Stop the truck and check it immediately upon air leakage, water leakage, and abnormal sound.Continue a task only after troubleshooting the truck.

(9)After completion of tasks for a shift, especially in winter, open all valves to drain the remaining water in the tank body, pump and pipeline to prevent the device from frost crack.

(10) Periodically clean the filter screen installed in the self suction water pipe to avoid suction of larger impurities.


Note: Maintain the truck as specified in the Operating Instruction for Chassis for the first time to ensure your rights for warranty.

(1)Maintain the chassis and supporting pump in accordance with the relevant Operating Instruction.

(2)Before using the truck, run it in accordance with the Operating Instruction for the Truck.

(3)For long-distance transition consignment, install anti-skid devices all around the truck with a gap of more than 200 mm. During the self transition, remove the front nozzle and the rear sprinkler to avoid loss.

(4)Check liquid outlet holes regularly for block, and clean them upon impurities (if any).

(5)Upon completion of work in each shift, clean the oil dirt, roll the pipeline and put it in order. Clean the site, close the door and lock it.

(6)If the truck is not used for long time or stored in winter, drain the remaining water in the tank body, pump and pipeline. Place the truck in a car shed to avoid exposure to rain or sunlight, and wipe it.
